Don't Take Life for Granted

To our surprise we hear awful things, just some days ago I read in some newspaper that:

·        “A boy ate poison to end his life because his proposal to a girl was rejected.”
·        “A girl tried to end her  life because she had quarrel with someone.”

Sadness isn’t a disease but when it persists it may be a life-risking too. It’s natural for a human being to be depressed once in a while but it’s the nature of human also to move out of that.  During depressed mood, pessimistic things roll in our mind, though not usually suicidal.

People take life for granted that they put an end to their life so easily. Just a second is enough---- just think about your parents and what their life without you would be; the moment you die you may be relieved of all your sufferings but what about the pain you give to your lovable ones. Just whenever you feel that your life is worthless remember this beautiful line-- When you think you're not happy with your life, always think that someone is happy simply because you exist.  Yes it’s a beautiful sentence and just think of this when u feel sad…..may be this won’t make you delightful but at least you don’t get drowned into sadness.

Life is a gift of god and you never know if u will get this life once more or not also…. So don’t just put an end to your beautiful life as it is a beautiful present…

LIVE THE PRESENT LIVE THE LIFE….....

Approximately one million suicides occur worldwide every year, which means that every forty (40) seconds somebody dies by suicide.
The current attitude and dilemmas, unlike in previous times, suicide is so common.

Doctor-Patient Relationship In Nepal

Well looking at the present situation, I doubt if people now have the same respect for doctors as it used to be before. I can’t tell exactly the situation in other countries and rural areas of Nepal; but for sure in the urban areas ---- the patient-doctor relationship is definitely worsening day by day. The present situation in Nepal where anyone can do anything breaking the rules, regulations etc. is a key contributing factor to this situation.

Facebook and its impact on me

Well, how to start!!    Just wanted to know the day I joined facebook as to know my bondage years---first I tried by a facebook application named “When did you first visit facebook?” It came June 2008 but I felt it wasn’t the exact one (as always happens with most of facebook applications as they are for fun only) and so I checked my hotmail for “ Confirmation mail ” of joining facebook and then I got the exact date as “JUNE 07 “ And it has been about 4 years  of friendship with facebook.

MAGICAL DRUG

For me through my internship period till today (10 months of internship), the drug that I have found to be a sort of magic is 50% dextrose.  Well, commonly patients land in ER brought by their relatives in a state of unconsciousness or altered consciousness the GCS being 5-8 /15.  Just a brief history often reveals person is a chronic alcoholic and had alcohol the before night. At the same time, on doing GRBS, you get hypoglycemic reading (<60 mg%) at times I have also got as low as
