Doctor-Patient Relationship In Nepal

Well looking at the present situation, I doubt if people now have the same respect for doctors as it used to be before. I can’t tell exactly the situation in other countries and rural areas of Nepal; but for sure in the urban areas ---- the patient-doctor relationship is definitely worsening day by day. Facebook and its impact on me

Well, how to start!!    Just wanted to know the day I joined facebook as to know my bondage years---first I tried by a facebook application named “When did you first visit facebook?” It came June 2008 but I felt it wasn’t the exact one (as always happens with most of facebook applications as they are for fun only) and so I checked my hotmail for “ Confirmation mail ” of joining facebook and then I got the exact date as “JUNE 07 “ And it has been about 4 years  of friendship with facebook.

MAGICAL DRUG

For me through my internship period till today (10 months of internship), the drug that I have found to be a sort of magic is 50% dextrose.  Well, commonly patients land in ER brought by their relatives in a state of unconsciousness or altered consciousness the GCS being 5-8 /15.  Just a brief history often reveals person is a chronic alcoholic and had alcohol the before night. At the same time, on doing GRBS, you get hypoglycemic reading (<60 mg%) at times I have also got as low as
